We have the disposable elastomeric infusion pump, which offers the option of administering predetermined amounts of medication to the patient continuously and precisely. As it does not depend on main power sources or batteries, it allows the patient to be treated on an outpatient basis but with prior medical supervision. The flow rate is determined by the combination of the flow regulation device and the positive pressure of the elastomeric membrane.
